Car Wash City
Wash away your blues today!

Yesterday, today and tomorrow
If you have dreamed of achieving personal and financial independence by starting your own business, then one of Car City Holdings’ franchises may be the perfect opportunity for you. Car City Holdings’ ethical approach to franchising has created many successful entrepreneurs. With their dynamic, innovative and proven business success model, the franchise opportunity has attracted intelligent, hardworking and ambitious business-minded individuals.

Car Service City, the first of Car City Holdings’ franchises, is a reputable network of over 35 car servicing workshops countrywide. They specialise in affordable service and repairs of all makes of cars and bakkies and are fast becoming one of South Africa’s leading car servicing groups. With Car Service City as the foundation, the group’s expansion into other motor vehicle related services led to the opening of Car Wash City.
The concept under the spotlight
The Car Wash City franchise is setting new standards in the car hand-cleaning and valeting market. The franchisor, seeing a synergy with Car Service City, opened the first Car Wash City at the head office owned Linden branch in 2010. The Car Wash City franchise has expanded to a further four branches within Johannesburg with more planned to roll-out within Gauteng and across the country in the near future.

Car Wash City uses open bays where cars are manually hand washed with premium vehicle car products and pressure sprayers to ensure the best results. A traditional car wash, exterior express wash or a variety of special interior care options are available. Boat, motorbike and trailer owners are also welcome to avail themselves of the services offered.
For an indication of their target market, look around at the amount of cars on the road. Most people enjoy driving a shiny, clean car.

Ideally, a Car Wash City outlet should be located on a main road, or one road back from a main road if signage on the main road can be accommodated to direct customers to the outlet. Car City Holdings encourages franchisees to establish a Car Wash City outlet in conjunction with a Car Service City outlet.

A typical Car Wash City outlet would employ one manager, if this is not the franchise owner himself, and at least six car wash personnel.
Consider your support
The head office provides franchisees with invaluable, practical support and offers accounting, legal, Human Resources and marketing assistance as well as regular conferences.

Everyone employed at branch level receives sufficient training to ensure that the workmanship delivered meets the Car Wash City standard. Further ongoing training regarding products and systems ensure that franchisees remain abreast of developments within the car wash industry.

Car Wash City engages in marketing initiatives such as flyer distribution at high traffic intersections, thereby placing the brand directly in the hands of potential customers. Annual promotions aimed at establishing the desired brand image also bolsters branch awareness levels. Car City Holdings Head Office has business relationships with national suppliers to ensure the quality of products delivered are in line with their corporate mandate.

Do you fit the profile?
Car Wash City franchisees should possess a successful business background with particular emphasis on interpersonal skills and financial management.
